Feedback from peers of our music video
The way that the performance was the main part of the video was a good aspect of the video and went well with the music. The way that there were few shots of the narrative was enjoyed by some of the members of the class but was not enjoyed by other members of the group as they thought there could have been more shots of the narrative to help build the story. The location's used in the video were given good feedback with peers saying "the location went well and helped to portray the genre". They liked the casual take on the video in the style the video was made, they said it made the the members of the group appear as if there an actual band behaving the way a band would behind the scene's. There ware a lot of shots cut in time with the music and the lip syncing was good making the video effective to fit with the music.

Our Filming
For our filming, not everything went completely to plan. Although we believed we had a sound plan, we were unable to execute everything perfectly. We learnt a lot from our first attempt at filming and are sure that we will be able to overcome the problems and still produce the music video that we want. To ensure this, we have made some solutions to our problems.
One of the main problems we had was planning the day we were going to film on. This happened because we decided what day to film and certain members of the group didn't receive the message we were filming so we wasted some time. A way we will overcome this problem is to =---plan the date we are filming on well in advance. By doing this we can be sure that we won't waste any time, and be as productive as we can during our designated filming time.

13P1-01 Rough Cut Feedback
To give feedback I will review the different elements in the video; Editing, Mise-en-scene, Camera work, Sound. I will also review how the genre elements have been used and portrayed throughout the rough cut video and give advice on areas that could be improved.
- Editing
The video has used a good amount of jump cuts that give good continuity.
There appears to be a black frame(s) on the third cut where the clips haven't been connected up properly in the editing leaving an area with no content, maybe this could be changed and the clips synced properly?
The lip syncing looks good.
- Mise-en-scene
There seems to be a story behind the video. Due to the video being unfinished this story isn't possible to follow so the meaning of the video isn't put across making the video appear random.
The character seems to change three times and they don't appear to be linked to each other, maybe this could be improved so that the viewer can understand these characters and what they are trying to achieve?
It seems as though there is some kind of colour correction that has been used in the clip but this might have been the weather, maybe this could be incorporated to help with the meaning of the video.

Rough Cut analysis - By group 13p1- 04
After watching your rough cut through of 17 Candles, by Pink Spiders, we were initially left slightly skeptical due to the lack of content, for example only a mere 30seconds of footage, however we have to say we believe this 30seconds was successful, as we feel there is a clear link between both lyrical meaning and footage, specifically the candles which clearly portray lrical content.
Another factor of which we feel is successful is the content of the live performance successfully matching both lyrical and instrumental meaning. Shown with, key lighting, and other factors of the mise-en-scene such as props and location, in a barn.
However we still feel the quantity could have been greater, yet we still feel this is a promising start and look forward to seeing the final cut.
